A Couple of bets to start the season with:
Cardiff v Southampton, over 2.5 goals, £50 at odds of 1.99
Derby v Doncaster, draw lay, £50 at odds of 3.4
The new season is about to start, the Championship kicks off this weekend and the Premiership next weekend.
I’ve been looking at the ’season’ bets and have already placed a couple, I’ve bunged £20 on Southampton to win the Championship at odds of 60’s in the hope that they start well and can trade out for a bit of profit either way, the other bet is on Liverpool being top of the Premiership at the end of August, with Liverpool’s fixtures being Sunderland, Boro and Villa it’s very possible they could be top, but it’s Arsenal who have West Brom, Fulham and Newcastle who are favourites.
I’m sure i’ll start my season’s betting this weekend with the Championship games and will post up the bets before the games on Saturday.

Well the Champions League bets never quite came off, just the one with Scholes getting booked! So a loss of £110 on that game.
Bristol City v Hull today to see who will take their place in the Premiership next season.

Just looking around at some bets for tonight and I can’t see an easy prediction in the Inter v Liverpool game, I think 0-0 odds are pretty good considering so I might as well have a small bet on that:

The Championship has yet another set of midweek fixtures, Southampton play again and I can’t see them drawing a fifth game in a row, so the bet is
Southampton v Leicester, draw lay, £50 at odds of 3.45

So there’s a full fixture list today, some early games kicking off, Tottenham v Fulham looks like a goal fest but with overs at 1.72 it seems a bit low, so minimal bet on that because I think it could well be overs.

Chelsea v Aston Villa could be an interesting one, I’m swayed towards unders here but at 1.82 I wont take the risk, Chelsea will be looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Villa earlier in the season so we could end up with a goal fest, who knows but i’m out!
West Ham v Reading could go either way, I think a draw lay will do on this.

Looking in the Championship i’m going to risk Colchester v Southampton over 2.5 goals, it’s about time they started banging them in a bit more and boxing day might just bring it on.

I’d like to have a bet on Derby v Liverpool but without knowing Rafa’s team it’s a bit difficult, but then any side he puts out should win this game, win odds of 1.32 aren’t very attractive, but over 2.5 goals at 1.82 are!

AC Milan v Celtic looks a bit dodgy to say the least, with Celtic only needing a draw, the odds for the draw are now at 2.16, yesterday they were sub 2.0! 0-0 was 4.5 but has now drifted to 5.0s

Well what a great performance by Liverpool tonight, a record scoreline in Champions League football, hopefully this result will kickstart Liverpools season!
Southampton let me down tonight, it’s the first time they’ve had two under 2.5 goals results in a row this season, i will be backing overs in the next game for sure.
Still £40 up for the night after a late Stoke goal ensured their game didn’t end up in a draw!
Ok still doing ok, just a shame Boro and Spurs decided to draw!
