RESULT!

Well the result prediction was wrong but the over 2.5 goals and draw lay came in, a profit of £120 over all in the Tottenham v Arsenal game.

A result that effectively kills off Arsenal’s title challenge, unless Chelsea lose to Spurs and Liverpool along the way that is!

No football bets today from me, there are some Spanish games on tonight but i’ll leave the betting until Saturday lunchtime with the Manchester derby, goals galore? I hope so!

That brings the profit balance for April to £261.50.

FA Cup Betting

Well at least it wasn’t a loss, wins on over 2.5 goals and Chelsea winning meant a profit of £52.50 after the loss on over 2.5 goals in the Spurs v Pompey game, bringing the profit on Betfair in the April Betfair betting to £164.50 from 5 bets.

There are quite a few games in mid-week so i’ll take a look and post any bets i’ll be making.

21st December

December was looking OK

December was looking ok until yesterday when I took a nasty hit!

Yesterday shows a loss of £167 mainly on 3 late evening foreign draws :(

Here’s a screenshot of the month so far

£278 profit from football still isn’t so bad, it’s better than making a loss, hopefully I’ve taken the nasty hit and can build up some more profit from the Christmas fixtures!

Football Betting Tips

Well i’ve not been very good at giving football betting tips, but i’ve never really claimed to do that, I just try and blog about what i’m betting on, and i’ve not been so good at that either :)

Well i’m posting another screenshot of my P&L for the last 7 days, I tend to do quite a few bets throughout the day when there are games on, so it’s the main reason I don’t post them all.

This week saw me twice not be able to lay off 3-3 in the Liverpool v Chelsea and Liverpool v Arsenal games, stupid pub and no mobile internet signal!!!

So here is my Betfair P&L screenshot for the last week :)

9th October

Darlington v Leeds

Last night’s bets cancelled themselves out as the game finished 1-0.

Today’s bets are:

Darlington v Leeds, draw lay, £60 at odds of 3.65 (liability of £159)

Darlington v Leeds, over 2.5 goals, £30 at odds of 2.18 to win £35.40

1st October

September P&L

Ok so here is septembers P&L, it isn’t too bad considering losing £220 last sunday, £243.86

I hope October can be even better now the teams are starting to take form, excpet Chelsea, I hope they keep not-winning!

22nd September

Mixed day of Betting on Betfair

Well today was a good day, the last couple of days haven’t been but the P&L for the last 7 days is……….. £167.31, so not too bad considering.

Bets today included 0-0 at Liverpool and 3-3 at Fulham, if I hadn’t traded on these bets then today would have been looking at around £600 profit, oh well, hindsight again!!

So a big game tomorrow with Man Utd v Chelsea, are we going to see a Chelsea side try and play attractive football in their first game without Jose? I hope so because it could be goals galore, at both ends, I think I might go for over 2.5 goals in this game as one of my bets for the day, I hope it’s another profitable day!

For an overnight bet i’ve layed the draw in the MLS game NY Red Bulls v NE Revolution, £20 at odds of 4.0, a liabilty of £60.00

20th July

Werder Bremen 2-3 Liverpool

So the reds completed their third victory of pre-season with their first game in Switzerland, Andriy Voronin bagged himself 2 goals with John Arne Riise getting the other.

Voronin is already looking a better buy than Schevcheklo was and was free, it’s only pre-season but it looks like the strikers are going to be battling amongst themselves to get in the side this season.

Fernando Torres, Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayoun also made their debuts for Liverpool, the attacking options are now looking good and i’m getting excited about the new season already.

I signed up with Setanta Sports package at £9.99 a month with no annual contract, they are showing quite a few pre-season games and also 46 Premiership games along with 60 Scottish Premier League games, Liverpool are also launching a TV channel on Setanta

At 2pm today Liverpool face Auxerre in their final game in Switzerland before jetting off to Hong Kong.

I still haven’t had a bet but I am getting itchy feet, I think I might start to have a few little bets to keep me entertained soon, I will post them here when I do, I mean ‘if’ ;o)

12th July

Opening post

OK, first of all this blog is to keep a record of my football betting over the coming season, I don’t claim to be a ‘tipster’ I just happen to own the domain www.footballtipster.co.uk so am putting it to good use, I will be starting with a bank of £200 and see how I get on.

I started to be a bit more disciplined on my betting in March 2007, typically just as the football season was ending.

My main bets are laying the draw and correct scores and I will always trade out of a position for guaranteed profit as you never know what can happen

Here’s a screenshot of my betfair P&L at the end of last season showing a profit of £1,631.47 for just over 2 months.
