Ok, let’s start with a fantasy bank of £500 and these are bets that I would make if i’d put some physical cash into betfair, the only difference is I wont be trading on these bets, they’ll be left to run.
First bet is to lay the draw:
Carl Zeiss Jena v 1860 Munich odds at 3.60 for £100 (liability of £260)
Well that was typical wasn’t it, a 95th minute equaliser and CSKA draw, 1-1 for the Aberdeen game so decided to put £35 on Blackburn to win 3-0, so they let in an early goal to Clarissa or Larissa whatever they are called!! then decide to back Blackburn to win for £6 and when they scored realised i’d backed the away team, how much bad luck do you need???
So for now that’s it, I really will give it a break for a few months but I will just make ‘paper bets’ and post them here, it’ll be just my luck to make a fortune on paper!!

It’s all going wrong, just when I think i’m getting somewhere I lose focus and bet stupid!!
Laying draws big, correct scores, over 2.5 goals, you name it it’s gone wrong!!
Tonight i’ve layed the draw in CSKA Sofia v Toulouse for £20 and done over 2.5 goals in Dnipro v Aberdeen
After that we’ll see what’s left to play with.
I don’t normally like to tie money up in long term bets such as League winners or top goalscorers but I have placed a couple so far, they are:
Premiership top goalscorer – Fernando Torres – £20 @ 7.82
Championship top goalscorer – James Beattie – £15 @ 8.2
also the one i’ve mentioned before
Premiership champions – Liverpool – £50 @ 7.6
All three to come in would be perfect!
Ok so here is septembers P&L, it isn’t too bad considering losing £220 last sunday, £243.86
I hope October can be even better now the teams are starting to take form, excpet Chelsea, I hope they keep not-winning!
